
As part of its permanent exhibition, the museum offers an insight into the fascinating and eventful history of psychiatry. The permanent exhibition was partially revamped in 2026 and includes in-depth texts that you can listen to on your mobile phone. It is best to bring your own headphones. The texts and listening points are available in German, French and English.

PERSPEKTIVE 2: Artists from the Kunstwerkstatt Waldau
This collaborative exhibition showcases recent works and encourages personal interaction. Furthermore, the artists engage in a dialogue with the collection. On display are works by Emma Baya, Regina Eichenberger, Martin Flückiger, Elmar Hempel, Alfredo Hess, Raphael Reift, Caroline Saidi, Dorota Solarska, Rebecca Schmid, Sonia Straub, Gela Weiter and WomB.

Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 2 pm to 5 pm
Guided tours and visits outside official opening hours for groups are available by appointment.
